The First Family's History, the
Unlinked Pagorias, and the Ancient Pagorias

The following family records are the result of a comprehensive search of the LDS records, multiple contacts with Caccamo, and the search of census records by Debora Hill of New York. Pete Biamonte paid for the lion's share of the following research. The records document the Pagorias born in the Sicily from the early 1700s through the early 1900s. This is an excellent snapshot in time of all Pagorias known to be in existence in this time period. In addition, the ancient Pagorias have been added at the bottom of this document. These Pagorias were found through census records, but cannot be conclusively tied to the Family Tree.

The First family listed below was put together by Deb's research. There is now documented proof that all three families that came to the United States branched from this Tree.

The families are designated by number for discussion purposes. One obvious fact that can be noted by reviewing these records is that only the First family has known male children that could be the ancestors of Pagorias (who have retained their last name) that are walking the Earth today. The First family pre-dates Unlinked Family Grouping #1 and it is very likely that this family grouping directly links into the First family.

The research collected by Deb Hill ends in the early 1910s.  Three families (Giorgio Zagone, Serafina Tardibono, and Giorgio Castelluzzo) have had descendants added to this site that are not documented through the research.  They are descendants from Pagorias on this Tree that did not fit into any of the other Trees on this website.
